Dealer Discounts

What level of discount do you think is achieveable on a brand new RX300 SE with Sat Nav? One of the cheap websites quote a discount of £3000 but then when they ring you up they say on Lexus they can only do 3%. Anyone have ideas as to how hard the dealers can be pushed, and will different dealers do different discounts?

I have an RX400h SE-L for delivery on 6 June 2005 BUT have not yet agreed a price with the dealer.

What discount (if any) do you think might be available?

I am worried that the RX400h does not have air suspension - any comments?

I was told no discounts on 400 but was given 4.5% discount on 300. Admittedly they want to screw me on trade in value on my existing bmw, so may have to sell that seperately though to get the best prices.

No air suspension should not be an issue... in a few reviews the coil sprung one was siad to suit the UK's roads more. I heard the reason it was droppped was that it is a heavy system and that it was removed to offset the added weight of the batteries etc on the RX400.

Discount... if you've already ordered and got a delivery date for the RX400 I think your onto plums... with their being a waiting list I can't see any discount being given.

I got 5% off my RX300SE.... :D

Lexus Glasgow... though did take a bit of arm twisting..... and probably came out of teh trade in for my bmw. overall happy with cost to swap which was the figure I was looking at.
