Please can anybody help. Where can we find the starter motor, is it on the left or the right. Trying to remove it to get it fixed, and it is hiding. Cath

yes it is quite a big job as the starter motor sits in the middle of the V underneath the intake manifold which you have to remove to access it.

I had it replaced by Lexus Park Lane. They also found a broken ECG Pipe ? - dont know what that is but the car runs a lot better now. Bad news is that it was £1000.

Oh well, it's the only big thing I have had done to me beloved 95 MKIII with 80K on the clock.
