I recently had new brake discs / pads fited to my 03 GS300. Since then (may be unconnected) the front nearside rattles when going over poor road surfaces (could be suspension or steering or ?). It is really strange as the corner does not rattle if I throw it down a twisty road or around a roundabout, merely on roughish continuous road surfaces. It's a bit like the typical taxi suspension rattle where something sounds loose, but this car has only done 38K. Had a mk2 for 110K miles and never happened before. Now, as you would expect I checked everything for tightness / play but could find nothing. I took it to Lexus Cambridge as I was in the area, they could find nothing either, but sure enough, it is back again. I do feel it through the steering. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks, Marcus.

Other than using greese you could have worn retaining pins otherwise you may need a new caliper.

The other possibility is that all the shims etc. were not put back when you had your brakes replaced.
