in this day when we`ve got renewable forests for farmed timber, and we`re supposed to be making poverty history, it just goes to show how unelected and huge quangoes can completely ignore popular opinion and work only for the pursuit of corporate profit. :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk:

not only is it pointless, one basic premise is this:

once its gone, its gone.

By taking short term profit, they will increase poverty and therefore dependence on the state, therefore increased taxes, therefore debt, therefore foreign aid, therefore increased taxes for you because of government aid obligations.

Please sign up, this is the 21st century now, we don`t need to destroy things to grow anymore....the industrial revolution has come and gone!!
