Ls 400 Changed Battery Now Wont Start

this is my first posting so be gentle with me .. i changed the Battery on my Ls 400 : and now it wont start ? the lights and everything else works ok but i think the alarm has emobilised it ... will not bleep .. do i have to have the alarm reset?? is there anyone out there that can help me ??? the car is a 1992 k plate ..

I'm guessing at this, try opening the boot with the ordinary key and see if this clears the anti theft syatem.

If not, try leaving it in the ignition for a few minutes with the key turned to ACC.

I can't remember the sequence, if no other posts try the USA site. :duh:
