Try these for a start......Radio #1 fuse ,under bonnet, large black box on right.

Radio #2 fuse, on right near accelerator pedal

as far as i have noticed the radio lights work off the same source as the radio itself as they are all on the same circuit board if you get the LCD showing track/station etc then the bulbs may be gone now is it the full illumination or is it the backlights behind the switches?

You can LED convert the whole stereo but its a pain in the truffles

Radio works but no light's on any part of the radio.

Is there a separate fuse, if so where is it located.

Got the same problem, it seems to be related to the fitted phone where it was spliced into the loom. I've had the radio out and fiddled and can get the lights working but when I reinstall the radio/aircon pod it don't go again, loose wire somewhere.

Do you have a handsfree fully installed phone, steering wheel/armrest?
