Need Some Pointers Please

Hi everybody.

Im fed up with my Lexus CD Changer so Im looking to replace it with a Sony MD head unit

Ive got a Din facia coming from the states. not had much luck with a wiring harness though. so it looks like im going to have to join an ISO socket to the wires.

How easy is this going to be? am i looking at alot of problems as I would like to use the speakers and amp that are already in the car, My sony has pre outs for the front and rear and it has remote switching. My old car a 306 was just a matter of unplugging the OEM unit and popping in the new Sony one.

This looks like a whole new world to me.

so any helpful pointers would be of great help.

Ps the unit in the car now is the fujitsu model with the cd slot at the bottom.

When I changed my head unit i just used an autoleads ISO convertor for Toyota.

was that all you needed for the IS200?

did it come with phono leads for the sound to the power amp?
