Quick question..... LSD standard on RS200's...?

Hard to test on an Auto.......but on a gravel type surface with traction control turned off it makes 2 deep trenches....any other way to check....

Dunno about the jacking up and twisting 1 wheel, lsd's seem to want a few revelutions to dial in. How about, Hard lock right, drivers door open, very slow take off, and listen for any sort of tyre gripping from the inside wheel. If a chirp, mabye celebrate with a victory dohie.

Only reason i'm curious is .......Near where i live there is a lovely long full vision bend that tightens near the end and when the road is a bit damp my car has a tendecy to UNDERSTEER, i know being rear wheel drive it should oversteer........ so talking to a friend he said if it has LSD it could be the reason it understeers...

Is he right?

Another test i was told but didn't try ( yet :) )

Secure the car and jack one drive wheel slightly off the ground.....now put in gear and release the brake slowly.....

If the car does not have LSD then the drive wheel off the ground will spin freely as it is the wheel with the least resistance....does this make sense or am i mad to be listening to these "experts"......

Hence if it does have LSD ...Be very quick re-applying the brake so as not to knock the car off the jack....
