Poor Quasimodo died and there was no body to ring the bells of Notre Dame. The Bishop advertised for a bell ringer, and hundreds of people applied for the job.

After days of auditions the Bishop had heard them all and no one person could ring the bells like Quasimodo could.

As the last applicant left and the Bishop about go home, a man with no arms rushed up and said "Am I too late", the bishop looked at him and thought." Why not give the poor guy a chance" so he sighed and told the armless man to go and ring the bells.

He rang the bells with his face and the peel of the bells were sweet music to the Bishops ears, the Bishop was just about to tell him he had the job when the armless man fell and died instantly upon hitting the ground.

The bishop was distraught at the death of this stranger. Upon reaching the ground, where a crowd had gathered, the Bishop asked if anyone new who the man was, a young fellow came out of crowd looked at the dead man and replied,
