thought about dechroming the window trim, quite fancy doing this myself and lowering it a bit more.

How does one dechrome the window trim (a la BMW Sport models)?

More lowering.....have you seen the size of the speed bumps in London? It would be wrecked round here mate....

yes as the sport models, BM call it shadow line trim, which is basically a high gloss black finish, think it would look good on the GS.

i did it on my old e46 325 i clipped the trim off and had it painted but a lot of people on the BM forums have masked theirs on the car and painted it.

dont suffer form speed bumps in the north west luckily. :)
