Alternator

Does anyone know if a supra alternator will fit a tt aristo as Toyota say it won't and other people have said it will. If not does anyone know where i can get hold of one as toyota are messing me around. They also want more for the part to fix it than they do for a whole new unit???

I would hazard a guess it should be the same, is it 90Amp or 100Amp, what part number did Toyota give you??

i think it would be the same as the auto supra alternator, which is around 100amps. The manual supra alternators are rated at 90amps give or take a few.

There is a supra tt altanator on eBay for £100 buy it now.item no 4629372453.

Managed to the part number 27060 46080

Not the same as the supra one? Is this just cos its an aristo part and not supra part but still the same unit?

Hi,

If its of any help to you alot of the parts are the same on the uk mk1 GS300 and mk1 Aristo but are under different part numbers because ones listed as Toyota and the others listed under Lexus.
