Why do you want the service done by Lexus? Just for the service stamp?

Give UP Auto at Cotgrave a call, you can provide all your own parts and they'll charge you £28/hour labour and you still get a stamp in the book.

as she's still within the 3 years, just, it was my main reason for sticking with Lex. i think i'll still go with Hanley for this one tho. hubby's cousin has got a small garage near Leics (only 20 min down the M1) so we'll probably use him for any other work after this.

Just a note on engine coolant......

I was informed that it should be changed every two years or 37,000 miles... whichever is sooner :)
