hi

just had a full service done on my 95 ls400 jap import.no serious problems to report however the garage did advise me to get a new Battery.does amyone know if when you disconnect the Battery and put the new Battery on.wether this will cause the radio/satnav to ask for a radio/satnav code to be entered?.would appreciate any feedback anyone might have.

i am not 100% but i would of tought so but you can run a set of jump leads on the terminals when changing the Battery to keep the codes as i have done this lots of times

Ive done a few Battery swaps and have always left the engine running and removed the leads,quick change and all's ok,and ive never come across a car that stops while you do it ?
