Is 200 Car Audio Question

Hey there everybody

Quick question here, my 1999 Lexus IS200’s audio head unit is...well...pretty much kaput :) . Repairing the unit will cost as much as two new audio head units. I've therefore decided to treat myself to the Sony WX-7700 MDX only thing is, is that it’s a Double Din . I’m worried that it won’t fit where the OEM head unit was once placed. I checked the IS200 spec sheet with little luck. Anyone out there know what are the dimensions of the IS200’s OEM Head Unit? Will a Sony WX-7700 MDX fit in my car? Is a custom installasion evident?

The standard headunit is double din so it will fit but you need an adaptor plate and unless you have the S version instead of the SE or Sport you cannot just buy an adaptor to power it.
