its me again :) just a quickie i said the only fault on the car was the time/temp display , well in my haste i forgot the cruise control doesnt work either , i am no stranger to vehicles as i have been an hgv mechanic for 35 yrs , but if any of you guys can give me a couple of pointers it may just save me no end of time , the electric side of it seem on first impressions ok as when i press the end of the swith i get the display lighting up to say its activated but it wont hold the speed ( as if the cable isnt conneted ) is this possible ? i have not as yet had chance to look at it but i plan to do so over the weekend .

Hello mate

You need to locate a box somewhere inside the panel in the steering wheel, should have WTF printed on the outside. Open it up and you're sorted :hehe:

The cruise has self diagnosis system, the whole thing is extremely complex,ecu control etc. 30 pages of info.

Just try these fuses for a start

'Dome fuse' under bonnet, junction box2 [is big fuse and relaybox]

'ecu-ig fuse' junction box 1 [on the right near your feet]

'ecu-b fuse' '' '' '' '' ''

If no joy email me and I will photograph the wiring diagram

post results on LOC if you fix it :)
