Odometer

hello everyone,

this is my first post here.

i picked up the car just last sunday. having waved goodbye to the nice salesman, happy there was nothing wrong with the car that couldn't be put right, the cold light of day is dawning that i must now get off my lazy arse and get on with it.

i rang my local lexus dealership and booked it in for next wednesday for a service and a good lookover. the only defintes are the front control arms and the clocks. ie, the odometer only appears for the first 30 seconds or so. after this, it just fades away. i also have a couple of annoying dash rattles.

anyone out there know what kind of damage these jobs are likely to expose me to??

odometer will be €125 from your dealer, you wont have the orignal mileage on the car anymore tho as the memory is on the pcb under the display if you know a reworker in a electronics factory they could change the displays

is it possible to use one of those """""digital correction :winky: """"" type services to adjust it?

It is by sites I've seen but i dunno if theres anywhere in cork that does it , I've only ever heard of places in dublin doing it, the AV Service Center

in FR Matthew Quay is the only place i can think of that might know
