hi, i bought a smashed up lexus is200 sport, X reg (2000 year), when i bought it all the electrics worked but i went to pick it up to day from the bodyshop and nothing works, they had to do some welding so maybe this had somthing to do with it.the car still starts but the things that dont work are

windows

all dashboard instruments

cenral locking

radio

indicators

and a few other things,

i checked all the little fuses and had to change a few but its till the same.the other thing is that they had to put a new Battery on because the old one was rubbish and now the new is flat, could any one help please

deffo sounds like the welding has blown a fuse or somin

u checked fuses both sides ?

and under the bonnet ?

there is a lost of wot fuse does wot on here some were try checkin tht

yea i check the fuses, i couldnt believe how many fuse boxes a lexus has, there was a few that had blown but i replaced them and still the same, i was told it could be the 120 amp fuse (altinater) under the bonnet but it looks ok, plus my new Battery has gone flat aswell?

hmmm

were was the welding been done

if battery has gone flat sounds like a short ?

put a new battery in n measure the current across it if its like 0 or very low somins deffo been shorted

cheers mate all sorted, it was the 120 amp fuse under the bonnet, but now my abs light is on am traction controll light is flashing. any ideas ?
