Ls 400 Headlight Bulb Replacement

I own a 1997 LS 400. The low beams have apparently burned out (one at a time within 2 weeks of each other) and I need to find out how to replace them. I have purchased the bulbs and have changed bulbs in other cars, but the LS 400 seems to have no access to the back of the head lamp. Has anyone out there replaced the low beams and what is the trick?

I have a 92 LS400 and in order to replace the bulbs I had to take the Battery out on one side and the air duct out on the other. Took me about 2 hrs just to replace two low beam bulbs! I hope it's not as difficult on the 97!

Any more information on this? I tried to change the low-beam bulb in a '97 and I think I snapped something. I checked out lexls.com and used THIS LINK, however that's for a 1st generation LS, which I think is a little different. Any help would be most appreciated.

I have a 94 and was told that Halfords high brilliance Xenon bulbs would work no problem. Not to sure about fitting them. If anyone has done this for a MK2 I'd also appreciate some advice.
