Kn Filters Good Or Bad?

Hi guys,

I just wanted to ask those that got KN filters in their IS 200 did they have any bad experiences related to failure of mass air sensor and getting some dirt inside of engine? I read on other forums that you could have these problems, any bad experiences? I hope not! ;) Cheers guys!

K & N are supposed to be one of the best!

All you need to know is to read this............ Filter test

I however found this just after i bought my hks induction kit and was almost sick!

The IS don´t has a mass-air-sensor like many other cars. It has a pressure sensor, so problems with oil from the k&n won´t occur.

Had fitted a k&n for 20.000 km, no problems. Filtration very good.

Now with the S/C i have the HKS-Hybrid. Looking at the filter-test above....
