I need some advice, guys. I wonder if IS has the same transmission as Altezza RS? If yes, has anybody done engine swap to Inline 4 3S-GE BEAMS? And has anybody done steering wheel swap from right to left side? I drive left.. may be somebody can help me at least where and who ask for advise? Cheers!

ok, th transmission is the same, however the bellhousings are not, the bell housings swap the starter from one side to the other

it is possible to swap the motor, but you will need the altezza engine and dashboard wire looms

to swap from left to right would be pretty simple, obnviously you would need the dash, dash bar, and steering rack, and also the pedal set up, but the holes are all there to move the parts around.

if you got the altezza wire loom it would be layed out for RHD anyway, another thing that would possibly need swapping is the heaterbox

the easiest would be to obtain a crashed altezza from japan and have it shipped, it would have all that is needed

you could easily do a l/r conversion if you can get a donor car
