Goodbye Lexus

after buying a 51 lexus rx 300 i have decide after 5 weeks to get rid of it. i find that having a petrol tanker behind me makes for hard reversing. what have i bought ??? A volvo s80 2.4 d5 exec twin turbo diesel. 48 mpg, 140 mph, dvd/tv, sat nav, fridge, etc etc etc. absolutely everything a boy could want. Lexus.... you can keep 'em. The worst thing i have ever spent my money on. BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

sorry to hear this,but to be honest if you want a car thats cheap to run you don't buy a petrol engined four wheel drive! ;)

Just how much homework did you do before you bought the RX? The fuel consumption is not some closely guarded secret.

ahhh....

I'm about to take delivery of a 2nd hand rx300. The screen on the dashboard has all the buttons for satnav but when i push them it says "external module disconnected".. does this mean i have it but it's not working or does it mean i have to buy one ?? Sorry to sound so dense but this is the first lexus I have bought, it definitely won't be the last.

changed your mind pretty quick on that mate, i hope you are happier with the volvo for longer than you were the lex.

very very different cars, big change, still i think most people have bought a car with good intensions and found its not really what there looking for. i hope you have researched the volvo a bit more than you did the lex rx,
