Hid Kits And Bulbs

Hi Guys

I was thinking of purchasing a HID kit for my IS220D and need to know what type of bulb i have at the moment?

Are these HID kits any good? Are they dangerous in any way ie. overheating? catching fire?

Very good, and actually less heat than a normal bulb..

can these be added to projector lighting?

Ideally, they are better suited to projector beam lighting....

As you have probably noticed, most factory fitted HID lights are used in projector beam housings.

As a second thought.. my 626 from 92 had projector beams... even then.

The HID's I fitted have superb clarity, and the cutoff line was very well defined..

Sailed through the MOT with no problems at all..

I must admit, although I fitted HID's to my GS300, the cutoff is a bit hazy, and probably give a bit too much glare..

I have only been flashed once or twice though, so tough titty :) they work well enough.
