My last car was an A4 1.9 TDi on an 05 plate, great feul economy but lacked the power I'm getting from the 220d.

I know fuel economy is not too good, I've been getting a tank average of 24.5 mpg using V-Power diesel - but as I have only had the car a week I'm driving it in a less than economical fashion at the moment.

One thing I will say is that I was quoted the mpg figures when I test drove the 220d and they were the ones for the standard to the SE-L -- I've got the sport and that's not quite as efficent...not sure why as they all have the same engine?

Must say though...am enjoying the car loads...

I agree. I was a massive fan of the Audi 1.9Tdi engine and raved about mine to all who would listen. I get in one now and I'm staggered by the lack of power, the noise and vibration, etc. It just shows how we have moved on.
