After 6 years virtually troublefree motoring the time has come to upgrade. In spite of passing MOT 2 weeks ago and having fitted 2 new rear tyres(£270) my baby is going on Tuesday.

After a lot of uncertainty between V300 twin turbo and GS 430, I am going for a GS 430 SE Nav. Sept. 2002 with 46600 miles on clock. Was getting on Monday but it is having new front discs and pads fitted before I take delivery.

I will really miss my Series 1 Sport and just hope this will prove as reliable.

Enjoy your new RAPID lexus..You definitely won't be going back to a 3 litre after experiencing the V8 thrust!

Defo more power than my 300 but not as much as the AMG55 I tested about 4 yrs ago. 430 is far superior to the Merc in all other respects tho.
