Hi guys,

Got the Aristo going in for a geometry check tomorow so just wanted to check incase I have anything to worry about regarding the settings? I will be using Drury Lane in Oldham, so do I get them to use settings for Toyota Aristo or Lexus Gs300 or are they both the same anyway?? They use the Hunter DSP 600 imaging machine.

Will the standard maufacturers settings be okay, unlike with the IS200? The car is standard except for 19" alloys. Want to make sure the car is driving right before I put her in Autotrader.

Thanks,

Anees :D

Nothing really wrong with the car Tony, steering was slightly off centre but generally it was just a check up before the car goes into Autotrader so the car is ready for anyone that comes to view it/drive it. Mind you it was so nice and comfortable when I was coming back that I was having doubts about selling it!

You were right about the cars geometry settings, they were able to just download those so the settings were for the correct JZS161 (Japan Import) car :D

All they had to adjust was the Toe on the rear and straighten up the steering wheel slightly; I can take a picture of the geometry report if anyone is interested - basically everything is now green. :)

Thanks,

Anees

  • 2 weeks later...

I'll be hoping to get a geometry set up myself soon enough when the new wheels are on.

Anees, are these guys good? I have coilovers on my Aristo and it will be on 19's, will these guys be able to do a good camber castor set up/alignment etc

Hi mate,

Been using them for years and never had any trouble. They have done my IS200, my BMW. a few mates IS200's, Evos, Supras and my Aristo. You shouldn't have any issues :D

Obvioulsy being closer to WIM would be the best thing - but we are lucky to have a place like this nearby! :)
