Is there a way of finding out if my car has any service history as I don't have any docs to say it has??

Do you know the dealer that you car came from new ? if so ring and ask them, if not, find out where the car has been living, ring all the lexus dealer in that area to see if it has been to them for service, im not 100% sure about the service history, but lexus GB can tell you if the car has had any warranty work done and where the work was done :D

I had the same problem! I contacted my local Lexus Dealer (e-mail), they were able to tell me it had some servie work carried out by Lexus Bristol. So! I e-mailed them , and they sent me out some printed out service history! When the log-book comes back, I will see where the car has been ""living!!!!"" , then maybe contact other Lexus Dealers!

Im getting a new cam-beltand a good service and thorough "going over!" of the car today! I had a car-manual (from e-bay!) come on Saturday! So its all going well! All I need now is the cigarette lighter! (which wasnt in the car!).

oK WILL try all of these suggestions thanks chaps. For the record I have a friend who is a toyota technician and he is doing the cam belt change for me and also giving it a full service as it's at 58thou miles but not having any history on the car bugs me...
