2005 Is250 Luxury Noise Problems?

Hi & Greetings from Estonia :)

I have a 50000km driven IS250. Lamellen tires (225/45R17) on alloy wheels.

Lately I start hearing more noise in my car. Yesterday I realized a noise between backseats and front seat center.. I have also realized that noise is louder @about 20degrees of celsius. At 80km/h (50mph) I have to listen very caerfully what people on the back seat are speaking of.

It wasn't always like this.

what could be the problem?

Yes, could. Winter is coming, so no point to start changin now :)

I know it's been a while but the soultion was to buy new tires :) That's about it! :)

what brand and type of tires are they?

I use pirelli sotto zero, however for winter I switched to narrower, because narrower is better on snow and ice - I use 205/55/16

In comparison with summer tires (bridgestone re050 - 225/45/17 & 245/45/17) are the winter tires quieter.
