Hks Turbo Kit

Looks like I'm going to get the intercooler at the same time to save on duplication of work...

Mark's got a TDI one that they use for the S/C boost upgrade, or there is an HKS Type S - any recommendations? I reckon HKS as it might go further in the long run, or are they much the same?

Mark reckons .35 bar (5 psi) on the standard pistons and rods. What kind of hp increase will that give me, given I am running about 210 at the moment? Will that give me the +22% listed on the TDi site? How much more can will I get out of the Turbo with uprated pistons for more pressure?

Still a bit of a noob to this after-market turbo lark :)

As the kit comes with an F-CON mini, but I'm getting an F-CON S fitted, anyone on the market for an F-CON mini?

Its REALLY hard to guess without having lots of details like for exmaple if you have lots of valve overlap on your cams it might be a really bad idea etc.

But assuming your spec is suitable for turboing as it is, i would say as a ROUGH guess you will pick up about 40-50bhp.

But its a real " how long is a piece of string" question TBH.
