Is200 Altezza - Tv And Remote Control Still In Japanese

Recommended Posts

First foray into Lexus ownership, and first foray into owners club forum.

I've just bought an IS200 Altezza, and the tv / remote control are still in Japanese. I understand from the previous owner that they can be converted / changed? Can anybody point me in the right direction?

thanks

Welcome to the club :)

I'm not sure if the Altezza one can be done, but the best person to speak to would be Luke here:

He's pretty much the expert on the Jap imports as you can see from his site :)

How it works on mine is that an aftermarket tuner is fitted to the car and then wired into the screen, so basically you end up with another remote control. Not sure if it's the same on the Altezza as it is on the Aristo but that's definitely the place to start :)

you sent me an email about costs from Drive and View. I tried to send a reply to you detailing their costs, but not sure if you got it, as it didn't show in my sent items. Could you let me know if you received it.

thanks
