Radio Output Intermittant

Hi All,

I was looking for advice. Intermittentantly when i start my car I will hear a loud thump and there is no output from the radio/cd etc but the Bluetooth works fine. After a while the problem corrects itself only to reappear a week or two later. Every time I take it to the garage the darn thing is working.

Any ideas

I've had a couple of issues with the radio recently - turn off the Traffic Advice and the radio just stops working, you have to turn it off and on again. The other is being unable to adjust the volume with either the knob or steering wheel buttons - the only way to sort this out is to turn the ignition off. Fortunately there are a few traffic lights on my way to work so I can "fix" it.

If you're hearing something before it happens, it might be some form of overload protection that resets itself.
