Alarm Issues On My Ls400

Recommended Posts

Hi all. I have not been in the LS for a while now as I have too many toys to play with! I tried over the bank holiday to start her up and go and get the papers. I was given 2 proper lexus 2 button remotes when I got the car but they have never actualy worked. I have always used the key to get in. I noticed that after unlocking the door with the key, the indicators were flashing. This obviously meant that the alarm was going off but that the siren had been switched off. I wondered whether the cars Battery might have been low on volts so I put a jump pack on, no difference. I then bought a brand new Battery after reading another post and it still dont work!! I would hazard a guess that the remotes are "out of synch". Is there a procedure that I have to go through to resynch and if so does anybody know it??I want to sell the old girl so it needs to start.

Any help would be most welcome

Regards

Steve
