Steering Wheel Clunk

I have power tilt/telescoping steering wheel on my 250 and now after the dealer fixed the clicking noice issue I had with the steering wheel, I got a loud clunk noice when the steering wheel moves into the position every time I start the car. I can feel how hits the break pedal when making this noice And sometime I can feel that it hit the pedal pretty hard. I mentioned this to the dealer and the tech said this is normal and wont do anything about it.

Now the question... is this normal? Does this happens on your car at start up?

Thanks Tango. will go back to my dealer and complain! I didn't recall I heared or feel the clunk before the tech fixed the click noice from my steering wheel.

The techs at my AD (only lexus AD in the city) is useless, instead of fix a problem they just made some new problems and claim its normal! :tsktsk:

I get the same noise, asked the dealer to look at it a number of times...

they claim they fixed it, however few days after getting the car back its still their!

No noise here on 2 IS250's. You choose a demonstator / used model on the forecourt and ask them to compare ;)
