helo everyone

i am new to this site and only signed up to see if anyone can answer my question. can anyone confirm if this cool 6 cd, dvd, tv, nav, ipod etc will fit AND work for a year 2000 is200 sport (nav) series

i asked the company if it is compatible with 2000 yr is200 and they said they need the specifications (size and dimensions) of the original lexus cd player. so if anyone knows the specs for the original can you please post them. thanks

thier company is on eBay and they have another one for around £300 which i also consulted about buy they also need specs of the original lex cd player. cant find the link but i will find soon

The pictures just of a nav unit from a mk2 IS - what exactly is the product? A replacement headunit?

Looking at the pic in the link, I'd say no- it looks like that unit in the link would fit a IS250/GS300 (mk3).

It won't fit a IS200/IS300.

Nah it's actuly a 6 cd, DVD, tv, navigation unit. It would be cool if I could get in our lex's. Does anyone know the dimensions Of the original unit or where to find them so I can send them to the company and then he can confirm

Well as long as it's just a double din stereo it'll fit fine, but it would be useful to see a pic of the actual unit we're talking about. Either way, most do recommend not touching these unbranded units as the quality is usually quite poor, how much does it cost anyway?

If those pics are accurate, then this is for the mk2 IS (IS250/350), not the IS200 but I'm surprised that a product like that even exists!

Oh no probs, a normal car stereo like Kenwood and such is single DIN, double DIN are the headunits that are unsurprisingly double the size. Obviously cars nowadays like the IS200 have custom sized units to blend into the dash but you can fit a double DIN into the IS with a fascia adaptor.

Sorry missed how much that unit had - the one I put up is just a DVD headunit, if you want nav as well you're looking at a fair bit more I think.

Personally I'd avoid the unbranded units from China, the quality will generally be awful, best to spend a bit more and get a quality unit from Kenwood, Alpine or Pioneer. Any double DIN unit from these manufacturers will fit fine in the IS.
