Alarming My Altezza

Hi well my cars been in an alarm specialist for a whole day, trying to fit cobra alarm and immobiliser with ultrasonics and proximity, but they say they are struggling to get it to trigger the central locking when alarming and disarming the alarm? they are gonna try using my standard remote to alarm and dissarm as this is the only way they think it will work properly.so if my remote goes tits up am buggered i guess,? any one know an alarm or solution remedy?

Toyotas have one of the easiest central locking systems to integrate into an aftermarket alarm. Some vehicles require an interface between the factory central locking & alarm. Maybe that's what your cobra needs? I'm running a AVS in mine & it works fine.
