Reversing Beep

I am installing parking sensors on my is200 and i am just woundering hw do you disconnect the think that beeps when you put it in reverse.

Ionly want to disconnect the beeper, can i need the feeds for another little thing i am going, as i found it easy to slip in reverse.

out of interest do they beep inside the car to tell the driver or outside as a warning to pedestrians ?

they beep inside the car to tell the driver that they are in reverse. It took me a bit to get used to it but find it quite a handy thing to have really.

cheers flyer-never really watched that clip all the way thru as the quality of resolution is so annoying-y thats not around in modern settings i dont know - anyway im a bit wiser now-thanks-wonder y they didnt put it on the auto,s ? not that im complaining

probably as the manual has 6 gears was to avoid people by accidently putting in reverse gear who are not familiar with IS.

find where the beep noise comes from and disconnect it ?

buzzer is in speedo unit.

C11 connector pin 2 is from back-up, disconnecting this wire should shut that beeper, have not tried myself.
