How To Remove Original Car Audio System On 2006 Lexus 220D

hi all,

recently i bought a 2006 lexus 220d luxury (no navigation). i'm very happy with my baby, what i miss from my previous car is an usb interface to read mp3 music from a pendrive.

i'm evaluating to buy this

grom usb

this device, as many others needs to be attached to the cd changer port of the original car radio device.

here are my questions:

1 how the h**l do i remove the original car radio device to access its back without any damage?

2 any idea where i can put the grom device?

3 the luxury version has its own 6 cd changer: i have to unplug it or they can be both plugged?

4 in you opinion, i would be able to have only 6 cds (directories on the pendrive) because of the original car radio limitations?

2. You can put Grom device on top of the radio. Plenty space there.

3. The grom device is pluged to a free port behind your radio. You can't miss it. Your original cd changer will work as well.

4. Yes you will have only 6 directories with up to 99 songs on each.

Be sure to upgrade the device on latest version from grom site.
