Rx400H Tyres Wear

Is it common for the RX400h to wear the outside edges of both front tyres, I have replaced both front tyres in January 10 and have done just over 5k miles since then and both tyres are now vertually bald on the outside edges only - is this the norm?

No it's not normal, reads like it has a Toe issue.

The wear pattern on my RX 400h seems a strange one. The wear is on the inner and outer edge for about 2 inches on each edge and the centre has a fair bit of tread left on it. I run the tyres at 35psi. I've only had the car for 6 months so don't know how it was driven previously. This pattern is showing on 3 tyres with the fourth a fairly new one which is obviously a replacement. Any views as to why such a wear pattern would be appreciated.

Nothing geometrically can wear the inside and outside so it seems like a pressure issue.

Thanks for that. I suspected it might be because when I first saw the vehicle at least two of the tyres seemed to be down on pressure.
