Windows And Sunroof Open

I had my RX400H parked and locked outside my office,with windows and roof closed,alarm armed.

Suddenly I heard the alarm ringing,and saw all windows and moonroof open!

The alarm was still on,and had to disarm it to close again the windows.

Has anybody had similar experience,and might be the reason of this strange happening?

You probably acidentally pressed and held the unlock button on the key which will open all the windows and the sunroof remotely. It is possible to do this if the keys are in your trouser pocket with something else and you sit down or bend over and the "something else" presses on the unlock button.

Had this happen to me by accident - then the software kicks in and relocks the the car if the drivers door isnt opened in x seconds and off goes the alarm

Many thanks for your replies.It is possible that keys were pressed in my pocket,while I was in arming/disarming range.

I admit though, I did not know this function.You live and learn!
