New Car On The Way

Hello everyone,

Just ordered a new Lexus IS 250 F-Sport with the multi-media package in Cadoxton Slate.

A bit of a complete change for me as I've always been into modifying my cars, whether they are new or not. This car is to be the daily driver and I'll be looking for something track-based to use for those special weekends.

I've come over from owning a VW Golf Edition 30 DSG and I've been very happy with it since I bought it new in 2007. Just managed to get it more or less back to stock after having just about every performance mod on it you could imagine (including Nitrous!!)and then on a whim I went to the local Lexus dealer with my better half, took a test drive and decided to do the deal.

A couple of weeks to go till the private plate moves to the new car and then I'll take a few snaps. B)

Yes, my last 8 cars have all been VAG, just thought I'd have a bit of a change this time. Before I started with VAG cars my previous ones were Japanese - but of the Nissan variety.

I am a bit of a pic whore, so don't worry about the photo's as there is plenty of great scenery here in the Dales. Just noticed that you are from Northallerton Stevie, do you know Motorscope? (a tuning place up there). I was due to go to a rolling road day there with the Golf, but now it has been sold I guess there's no point anymore!

yeah, i know of motoscope. when did you hear of it being sold? i had my MR2 rr'd there when it was nasp and when it was turbo'd.

Yeah, that was my thinking too.

Could do with a HKS exhaust and some deep dish alloys too. I'd like to drop the ride height too, but don't really want to ruin the ride quality.
