  1. i still think it'll look odd with the front arch gap bigger than the gap... i run heavy reverse rake on my car, i'd rather it looked like a snowplough than it was trying to take off. btw... your backbox will hit the floor less if you stiffen your dampers. ;) i have to run my fronts on hardest setting to achieve this: lovely wheels though mate, it will look spot on when you get the stance right.
  2. my situation is even identical to yours in opinions lol, the fact i've got a set of TE37s means i'd rather have no centrecaps than the wrong ones. i'm sure this will make no sense to many people that would read this...
  3. the genuine te37 centrecaps are a little less bling. but yeah, i'm in the exact same situation lol :(
  4. hello, i recognise you from across the way :)
  5. i'm fully aware of that. still, you mentioned tyres, not incorrect offset wheels.
  6. ormi, you dont know how wide his wheels are? the rear arch lips are fackin huge on an is200 / altezza. you could achieve a hell of a lot with the rounded end on a hammer and a hair dryer
  7. black. why anybody would want to attract attention to standard brake calipers is completely beyond me.
  8. and there was me thinking it was the reflection of a black car in a polished wheel.
  9. i remember passing you on the way back from sunderland, and vice versa! posted a spotted on JNE wondering if you were on there.... location of lancashire explains it!
  10. lmao, i see! nice looking car.
  11. what they said, it's not a conspiracy. every car i've had under reads as well.
  12. hi mate, lowering the car 25mm or so will make a bit of a difference, any lowering springs will. it won't look "lowered" though if its got the massive tractor stance that most standard cars have when you put new wheels on, but it will bring it back to reasonable. as for buying some, i've got some 'cos i fitted coilovers to mine. im in north yorkshire and would let mine go for £70, so £30 for petrol from cheshire and bob's your uncle. it may increase your premium, it really depends on who you're with etc. cant guarantee either way, you'd have to ring your insurers and ask them.
  13. an air filter, silicone bends, probably 45 degrees each, and some metal pipe the same diameter as your throttle body.
  14. yeah, i know of motoscope. when did you hear of it being sold? i had my MR2 rr'd there when it was nasp and when it was turbo'd.
  15. hi and welcome. VAG slag looking forward to seeing some pics of the is250 when it arrives.
  16. hi there. price sounds spot on, i paid 5.1k for mine with a simlar description but manual and with a cusco brace and a set of volks te37s and a loaded options list. car looks like a clean example, welcome to the club.

    Jae 2010

so what we can sum up from that is you don't really like british car shows. JAE 07 was absolutely fine apart from weather, and it's been held in a different location every year since. :) Lol that posts only states the dislike of the JAE car show from bad experience & service recieved, doesnt mention any other car shows in UK lol & british car show?? its a japanese car show or am i missing the point ha ha lol seeing as you asked..... in 4 years on the UK car scene i've never ever paid to get into an event by car rather than by person. it's a daft idea that would encourage people car sharing... which would defy the entire point of a car show where clubs are the main representation. this goes for santa pod, JAE, RSCS, JTS, etc etc etc. The JAE website and forum has existed forever, post your thoughts on there and john the organiser would have got back to you as it's a public environment. what did you expect, your money back? you turned up to a car show in a field.... they probably got sick of you. overpriced food is a staple diet of UK tuning shows, you should come back from every single one having spent £60 on burgers with at least one type of food poisoning sorry for the sarcastic tone of the comment but it's just kinda what i expect at a show that's famous for being laid back, that is held in britain every summer. of course the weather's gonna be a bit rubbish sometimes, and its the same as every other show of a similar format. just got back from JAE and it was brilliant. saw quite a few cars i recognise off here, but never any owners around them for a chat so apologies for not introducing myself.
  18. performance, an induction kit will make no real difference to an FE engine on its own. 2 or 3 bhp on a cold day. noise, couldn't really speak for them as i've not heard many.
  19. just a mod i dunno if you'll have considered... i like to make sure the little things are right. new front numberplate that isn't mounted to a plastic brick with screw holes in? grille looks good, car looks clean.
  20. ahhh i see - so basically, you don't want a blitz nur spec lol. there was a silent hi-power for sale in the for sale section not so long ago, could still be there.
  21. a very quiet exhaust to go with a decat and 4 2 1? talk about wanting the best of both worlds! lol welcome to the club mate, get some pics up of the car when you get a chance :)
  22. hi and welcome. plans sound reasonable, whats that in your avatar? looks like a turbo'd micra but i could be wayyyy off the beaten track with that guess lol
  23. here ; half the rrp given that you have no use for them and just want the money. alternatively, ebay
