The heated seats in my IS, even on the top setting, seem at best warm, after the BMW which was realy hot. Is this a common problem or is this normal, i had a VW passat once that had a similar problem and it was the reostat, just want to make sure before i take it in.

While it's not as butt-scorching as our previous Saab 9-3 Convertible, I find the heating on the IS220d uncomfortably hot at setting 3 (and hotter than those on our last car, a Nissan X-Trail) - I usually put it at 2 for the initial warm-up preiod and then drop it to 1 for comfort. The missus likes the heating at 3 then 2.

Hi, My seats warm nicely at 1 to 2 on the dial - i think you need to get yours checked out - before the really cold weather strikes!
