I have a 2007 IS250 SE-L and have recently noticed that the steering has become very light and sensative. If travelling on a straight section of road the car goes over a slight dip/depression the car veers of to left/right.The steering has always been very positive but I have had problem with starting from cold and doing a hard right turn,I occasionally get loud knocking from front suspension.Anything similar or any ideas?

Perhaps a a tyre pressure check is required given the cold temperatures for your light steering. Also 17" tyres may be prone to tramlining.

The "loud knocking" has been covered on a number of posts so search around for wheel stepping out or knocking and you will read it appears to be normal behaviour, especially with cold tyres.

Hope that helps.
