hi guys ive owned my is200 sport 02reg for 2yrs now an its been trouble free . but i recently changed plugs and air filter an the EML came on . it starts fine pulls well no loss ov power. the only thing ive noticed is the idle speed is sumtimes alil low . ive reset the ecu an the light stays off if u drive gently but as soon as u unleash the 6pot it cumes bk on again. eny suggestions guys . itll be much appreciatied .. cheers phil27

You need to check the codes on the ECU, this will tell you why the light is on and whats wrong

have you plugged the air temp sensor back in??its on the airbox..

Yes m8 dne that , I've jus ordered a code reader am gna c what codes it comes up wiv , , hopefully nothing serious , will keep u informed

ITS A P1349 witch is a vvt system malfuction bank 1 , is this sumthing i can do on my own , or is it a garage job . help appreciated

That's normally a blocked oil control valve ( try the search ;) ).

just searche it and it mentioned about a filter that gets cloged up so gna giv it a bash tomoz . hopefully all goes well

Cheers for that I took the filter out an it was all clogged up so all gd now many thanks
