Access Satnav Language Selection Screen

Recommended Posts

Proud owner of an IS200 here that i picked up over the weekend. I want to find out the generation version of my satnav.. but every time it loads i go straight to the welcome screen and on http://www.lexus-mapupdates.eu/ the way to tell which version you have is via the language selection screen. Any help would be great thanks.

Not entirely sure which info you want but to get to language selection screen :-

1) Press the "MENU" button to display the "Main menu" screen and select "Navi option".

2) Select "Set up".

3) Here you can select desired language etc.

4) Select "Finish".

Changing language only changes the voice, not display etc.

As mentioned above part no. and version no. are printed on the disk - the genuine ones anyway :shifty:

Otherwise you can get some disk info in the diagnostic mode as follows :-

1) With ignition in accessory position and audio system off switch on satnav and go through welcome screen.

2) Press CD/Disc button 3 times while holding radio preset buttons 1 and 6 pressed at the same time.

3) Select "Disk information" from the "Diagnosis" menu you now have displayed.

Obviously this is only relevant to the standard audio system.

Switch it off again when you're done.

I think that should pretty much cover it B)

PS - this all works on my 2001 car but not sure about the later ones
