When Changing A Clutch?

Recommended Posts

Basically looking to change my clutch soon and doing so myself... Basically is there anything to look out for? Also for the clutch fluid... Does it share the same reservoir as the brake fluid? And is it easier to drop a engine mount off to get to the top bellhousing bolts? And anyone know how many there are?

Cheers dudes!

No mate you just unbolt it from the gear box theirs no splitting pipes so no mate you don't need to bleed it..Also unless theirs somethings wrong with the cylinder I wouldn't do it.

yes mate you need to drop out the gear shift plate to drop the box. also it helps if you have a center tool for the clutch but you dont need it but it helps. drop the rear shaft then remove the box but it's tight to get those bolts on the top of the motor and be carefull not to trap any wires in between the box and motor as it's easy to do.
