How Do You Load A Sat Nav Upgrade?

Hi all,

New to the forum so assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2005 RX300 and want to get the Sat Nav newest maps. However everywhere I look it appears they are mentioning removing the old DVD and installing the new one in it's place.

The only thing is with the Sat Nav in my Lexus doesn't have a DVD anywhere on the dash. My wife's Honda has a folding down screen in her Sat Nav, but mine doesn't appear to have anything.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks.

Not sure whether the RX300 is the same as the RX400h but the sat nav disc on the 400 is situated in the tool tray in the boot. Its pretty well hidden behind a cover on the right side of the tray. The cover has to be removed and you feel for a little slider which is used to eject the disc.

I have "felt for a slider" but don't seem to be having any luck - can you be a bit more specific?

I take it you have found the rectangular cover and removed it. Have a feel inside the opening towards the front of the car and you should find a small rectangular button. This needs sliding(can't remember right or left)only slightly and the disc should automatically be ejected.
