Hi all,

Still learning about the RX (2004):

Can anyone tell me where the oil filter is? Is it the type you screw off the whole thing to replace or the one you change the paper only?

How do I remove the plastic engine cover? There are 3 screws, then after that something is still holding the cover. Is it just plastic clip?

Not sure about the 300, but on the 350 the filter is a paper cartridge accessed from a panel underneath the engine.

On the 350, the cover simply pulls off, obviously that's not the case on yours.

Thanks Mark, managed to 'feel' where the filter is with my hand, its below the manifold, can't quite see it with the bonnet open.

Still unsure about the engine cover though. Any rx300 owner can advice? thanks
