Wet Is200 Passenger Carpet

hi everyone, new to the site and looking for some help and advice on my is200 its been faultless for the time iv had it up 2 now!

about 3 weeks ago i noticed it smelt a bit musky on inspection i found the passenger carpet was soaked!! iv had no luck finding the source of this water iv checked the floorpan the bulkhead and the windscreen with no luck any help will be great

It's gonna be a case of deduction and trying many things.

Could be a blocked drain on the outside. Run a hose over the windscreen, sunroof tops of doors, wiper panel (you get the idea) and see if water comes in.

Could be your a/c evap drain blocked. run the a/c for a long time and see if it creates any fresh dampness.

Could be the heater matrix but if your car has proper coolant in the cooling system then the car would soon reek of that distinct coolant smell.

Check your fuse box for water, have you run cables through the bulkhead?

hi there checked the fuses + wireing in the passenger footwell they have water beads on them could the water be coming in through the windscreen then running down the inside of the pillar ??? drivers side is bone dry so is the roof lining the back footwells and boot

Mine came through the bulkhead on some cables, if you haven't brought any custom cables through from the engine then I would think about getting a reseal on your screen before you get some serious damage!
