Hi all, my IS300 CD-player been acting up lately and not able to read a lot of CDRs I have burnt, these disc I can read from my laptop. Even if it is able to read, half way down the track it will start skipping, then return the unable to read error. Is it possible to use the normal CD-cleaner in the changer to clean the head, or there is a better solution?

thanks

I have found in the past that burned CD's will not always work in certain CD players but will always work in a laptop.

As far as I mind it is something to do with the format with which they are burned MP3, AVI, WMA etc.

There is a lot of information online regarding this, I don't think you have an issue with your CD player if it is playing normal CD's with no problem.

Burn them slower! I'v played loads of home written cdr's in my IS200 and always burnt them @x4 speed without any probs. HTH

Thanks I will give it a try at 4x speed. Have you also tried those CD head cleaner, will it jam inside?
