Switch Audio On Rx400H

Hi. Just wondering if possible is to switch audio sound from headphones to car speakers during watching DVD on back seats. If yes how to do it. Cheers for any info

Rear DVD system is independent, so it's not possible.

I think some US-spec cars have the rear DVD player connected to the external CD Changer i/p of the ML stereo. So pressing DVD twice on the ML input selector toggles to the rear DVD player. In my car, I've got an iPod adapter fitted to this input, but in addition to the iPod connector it's also possible to connect a second audio device via a 3.5mm jack lead. In my car this lives in the glove box, but I suppose it could be routed somehow (under the carpet?) back to the DVD player instead. So I think it's possible if you want to spend some money on it!
